Search terms entered into a partner search widget may be sent to that provider. If you send a message, we receive the details you provide. We and service providers may also receive routine technical data such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate usage time. Cookies and similar tools can support preferences, analytics, advertising, and service operation.
How information is used
Information may be used to operate and improve the service, respond to messages, protect against misuse, understand traffic, measure advertising, and support the search feature. We do not operate a government record system. Lincoln County Sheriff, municipal police, court, DOC, BOP, and ICE records remain controlled by their own custodians.
Sharing and outside services
Information can be received by search partners, analytics providers, advertising networks, vendors that operate the service, or law enforcement when a valid legal order requires it. External links lead to offices and services with their own privacy practices. We do not control an outside site’s content, availability, pricing, or handling of information.
Security and retention
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online transmission or storage method is completely secure. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, dispute handling, and service protection.
Children and your choices
The service is not directed to children under 18. Do not submit a child’s personal information. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or information about personal data we hold by using the Get in Touch page. Browser controls can limit cookies, though some functions may not work as expected.
